As per http://euandus3.wordpress.com/2009/12/03/skipping-stones-what-about-the-foreclosures/ , I think it is telling that the Treasury department is not advocating that the proceeds be used to reduce the number of foreclosures. In fact, Treasury had noted such an alternative in its “break the glass” TARP proposal in April 2008 (before Sept!). I suspect the power of the banking lobby explains this.

Why is Bush,Cheney,Rice,Rumsfield ,not being brought justice by the people,us, for their crimes with no accountability.Tried for treason, murder conspiracy, misleading and lying to us, that is punishable by death.No we sit by and let these people act like god ,serving their hate on us,indangering our lives for years to come.The world hating us ever more than before,and we are the cost of the hate the last administration has left us in, and with no punishment,just more lies.And you want to blame the new president using death threat in the name of HEALTHCARE REFORM, to spew your hate when the ones who should be baring the blame and hate is living still better than we ever will.After 8 years of screwing the people we reward them with comfort and BIG ASS benefits!!!
